I'm so excited! I found a "planner" template that has helped me compress 3 kids into a two page spread. I spent the afternoon looking over the assignments, plus the actual time we have next week and wrote it all down. I'm still not totally sure what 2 children will be doing while I'm working one on one, but having it all at a glance on one page will sure help me. That and R&S preschool books!

This particular planner is so customizable that weeks we will school 4, 5 or 6 days can totally be accommodated! My husband has Tuesday off this coming week and we are going to visit family this weekend for two of my kids' birthdays. We decided to take the opportunity to visit a Chicago museum on Tuesday. That leaves us only 4 days of actual school work next week. The following we will be doing 6, it all balances out!

(Not sure how to rotate pictures!!)

Good for you. (Yours was the original post, after all!)

For quite a while you have wondered how to work around the scheduling challenge of your husband's rotating day off. This plan sounds very good!

I do this too, although right now I'm using a page for each day. But having everything for all the children in one place is so helpful. I still tend to over-estimate what we can accomplish, but I'm getting better!

Where did you find the planner pages?
