My daughter just began 2nd grade, and this is our first time using Rod and Staff Arithmetic. She has her first speed drill today on page 30 in her workbook. I see that I set the time for 60 seconds and then she stops. We aren't sure what she should do in the blank boxes under the 4 rows of addition problems. I looked in my manual on that page and in the section on speed drills, but I didn't see anything.
