Yes! His core strength isn’t good. I don’t think it’s possible to know if the vestibular problems cause the muscle weakness or the other way around. This child was sitting up and army crawling at 4 months. He could stand up holding onto something at 3 months. He shouldn’t have strength problems!...

Pencil Grip
I guess I’ve failed at not making my son write correctly. He’s on the small side and we do work at the table, so he’s never had the right ergonomic setup. He’s right handed, but he does other things like he’s left handed. My husband says his wrong eye is dominant. So he writes like a left...

I recommend using TSI instead of TSII. Traditional Spelling is pretty difficult, and I’ve read that many people use it a year behind, myself included....

Can you pick up where you left off with MP? Or start over? Use it for a month or so and see how it goes. That’s the only way you’ll be able to know for sure.

Your guide probably accounts for the old format, so I wouldn’t worry about it. R&S is so much drill, so I don’t understand why they added the math challenge. If you really want the new offerings, they can accommodate you if you call them....

If I want to use the American history books as shared reading in a mostly regular MP core as our history curriculum for the year, what grade would you say that is best for?...

You would probably need 2nd grade literature. I would start with the beginning for cursive because their style is probably different....

Most Important
I asked this question on the Facebook page and didn’t get any responses.
What are the most defining components of a classical education?
I’m thinking
1. Latin
2. History and Literature of Rome and Greece
3. Progymnasmata

It was more a shift of the schedule than a change of books. I think only 1 of the books is different....
