If the guide isn't available due to printing issues, it possible to have it as a digital download? I would pay for it in that format, esp. if it would otherwise be unavailable.

Henle II Exercises
I will admit to stalking the class offereings for next year! 😂
As part of the Latin offerings, I see under Henle II that there are three sections of Caesar Latin and one for Henle II Exercises. Both options are $650. What is the difference?
Thanks!

I am very excited about these updates. My older son is in 4FL this year and will be in Henle II next year. These are very welcome changes.

I thoroughly agree with this answer. I was going to suggest The Wind in the Willows, too. I would be sure to write the Central One Idea essaysm too. This book is a great introduction to the format of the high school literature. Writing the essays will give them practice for what's expected, too....

My son is in 4FL with Mrs. Strickland this year. Meeting twice a week is great. I have no idea how other teachers cover the content weekly. The way the material is broken down and reinforced works great. I think it would be beneficial in the other Forms to, or at least in 3rd when the material begins...

I appreciate this discussion. I will have a 9th grader next year. We just finished applying to the high school diploma program. I am trying to map some things out and figure out the path to take. What/how much we do online will be dependent upon if he's accepted into the program or not. There are so...

After the exams are completed and the application is filled out, how long does it take to get results? If class registrations open before an answer is received, what is the best way to handle that?
Thanks!

High School Diploma Program
When does the application process for the high school diploma program begin? I have been looking around on the website. The link goes to a waiting list for the 2021-22 school year. We are looking to apply for the 2022-23 year. Thanks

We tried doing Fable and Narrative on our own with the DVD's. I didn't understand how to guide my children through it, and I didn't know how to grade it. My older son is a couple of levels "behind" since I was so intimidated by it; I waited until my younger son was ready to start it and combined...

Currently, we have grades 6 and 8.
We have always done spelling tests.
We then added math tests when they were included.
We do Latin quizzes and tests beginning with First Form.
Once they start the Famous Men series, we add in those quizzes and tests.
My 6th grader will...

My older son struggled with 2nd Form. He wasn't understanding the grammar concepts, so he took it with MPOA the following year. He completed 2nd and 3rd and got an A+ in both. He will start 4th this year. I agree with figuring out what the issue is. If it's a matter of vocab or memorizing forms, drill...

I agree that you really need to do one lesson per week. I teach the lesson, review, do some samples from the workbook together, and work on translation in class. They complete the work and take the quiz at home. We grade the quiz together at the beginning of the next class. I don't know how you could...
