Thanks Jessica! I was thinking of the transcript I'll prepare for grade 12 in three years and wondering if including a NLE grade would give credit to homeschool work. I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada, and some of our local universities like to see credit courses on the transcripts of home educated studen...

NLE - what levels are offered?
Hello everyone,
I haven't been around in awhile - I hope all is well!
I am looking at ways to receive accreditation for high school work and I was thinking about the National Latin Exam. However, I know nothing about it - except that it exists. What levels are offered and how...

Thank you, Debbie. Just working with it at home, I don't think the page numbers would be a problem.
I hadn't looked closely enough to see the video option for sale as well. I had just noticed the online course, which would be good if we're looking for feedback. I wonder if a final grade...

Traditional Logic I - 2000 edition
Hello everyone,
My question has to do with Traditional Logic I books from 2000, which I purchased second hand. The 2000 book includes both the student text and the workbook, and from my initial quick look at the online samples of the third edition, the material seems the same (at least...

I use them like Tanya said. For Latin (we're in SFL), we watch the first few lessons together, then once we get going in the year, I often watch them first on my own so I know what is going on, but then each son watches on his own. And with CC, we watched the first few lessons together for both Fable...

Third Form Latin Flashcards
Hello, I received my Third Form Latin set from the Canadian distributor and the flashcards are the 2011 punch out cards. Are there any differences between these and the newer ones? i.e. any additions that I should know about in order to make my own to add to the mix?
Thank you!

Thank you, Laura!
Oops on the PM - there is much about the system I don't know yet. Though I finally included a signature - after three years! If I have questions for you, I can tag you on one of the threads that deal with this topic. I'm going to check out these titles.

Laura,
What are the Confirmation workbooks your parish uses? Since it's off-topic, you can PM me if you prefer. I've asked so many questions on the Catholic threads and learned so much about what is available. The chapter of Knox I read was great. I am thinking my sons would enjoy his writing...

Thanks for the tip on The Creed in Slow Motion, Laura. I read the sample and it looks really engaging. I am always so grateful to learn about Catholic resources....

Laura,
It's so good to hear that your plans change too!
I'd like to hear what you end up doing with CSIV. We're Catholic and I received some good titles for Middle School Confirmation etc. on another thread which I could do instead of CSIV, but I also have CSIV and it is soooooo...

sprout18 Welcome! I have boys in grades 8and 9 this coming year and we've just finished our third year with MP. I'm soaking up all the advise you are receiving - I noted Jennifer's particularly because it resonates with me as well. As I look back over the past three years, I think there were times I...
