Writing for DD8, dyslexia
We used SC3 for writing this year along with the read alouds that go with it. My daughter is doing great with it and should complete it with no problem. I am planning to purchase the full MP3 curriculum for her next year but wanted opinions on the writing portion. Should we plan to go with IEW All Things...

Re: Audio Files for Recitations?
I get it! I'd love audio like what you're describing that's "official." It does help if the resources are already made. 😊

Re: Audio Files for Recitations?
I haven't found anything put out by MP, but we were in Classical Conversations for five years and accumulated quite a few songs for various memory work. Many of those are on YouTube. (Not the ones copyrighted by CC, but ones "written" by families...

Re: 4th grade new user questions about downloads
Thank you both for asking and answering these questions! I had some of the same ones.
One more to add for 4th for new users:
Poetry for the Grammar Stage is included in the curriculum package but I can't find...

Re: Anyone use a Morning/Breakfast Board?
That's great! I like doing six at a time... Will have to think about that execution in my dining room as well!

Re: Anyone use a Morning/Breakfast Board?
Ooh I like the Latin phrase for contemplation!
I have created a trifold out of shower board thst functions as a white board before. That would be more spill proof than a foam core for the non-wall space folks. 😁 Though...

Re: Anyone use a Morning/Breakfast Board?
Ha! Yes the mess and milky mosh pits happen around here too! The older ones would benefit more than my two littles. I like the idea of putting it on a wall, but typically those more permanent things get ignored after the first day by my kids....

Anyone use a Morning/Breakfast Board?
Has anyone used something like a 'focus board' for mornings to just have a display including that week's enrichment, math facts, art card/poster, etc? I just came across this idea and thought it was great so I'm trying to plan out a display board that would go on the table at breakfast and then get...

Re: Spelling placement
Thanks Cheryl, I didn't even think to consult her therapist. Good call! I have looked over the ToC for both TS and SWO but haven't studied them well to compare against what I know she already has solid. I'll print them out and spend some time and definitely give...

Spelling placement
Hello,
I am using a mix of SC3 and MP2 materials for my 8 year old next year. She has been in therapy for dyslexia the past year and is now (truly a miracle) reading, writing and spelling a hair above grade level (she's finishing up grade 2 according to her age/testing which was WoJo). I intend...

Anyone have their children write directly in the R&S textbooks?
Hi all,
I'm making the switch to full MP this year. We previously used Singapore for math and my girls will be using third and fourth grade R&S. They are both used to writing in workbooks versus writing out each problem from a textbook. Can anyone give me reasons not to have them...

Math lesson plans 3rd and 4th cost?
Hello, I was looking at purchasing the lesson plans for math for third grade and noticed that many of the other levels are $5 for digital and $6 for print, but the 3rd and 4th grade lesson plans are $15 and $16. Is there a reason for the price difference? Thanks!

Re: Fable class structure
I meant to ask how the class time is structured, but knowing outside class expectations would be helpful as well! Thanks so much.
