First Grade Reading

This may have been answered somewhere else and if it was I apologize. I am doing TS 1 and for instance Lesson 6, Day 1 it lists some work under Classical Phonics. I have been assuming this is the MP Classical Phonics, A Child's Guide to Word Mastery, Book. But the work listed by page does not match...

We are using the first grade manual and under Story Time Treasures it reads - Teacher: Essentials Phonics, day 1, day 2, etc. Can anyone tell me where to find this?

2 kids right now. 6 year old doing kindergarten and 9 year old doing 2nd grade. The 9 year old is the challenge. Doesn't like math, but I think that's mostly because he hasn't been able to memorize math facts, so it's challenging for him. Surprisingly...

I've thought about this a little more and wanted to add a few more things.

If the course you are doing offers a DVD spend the money and get it. Preparing to teach a lesson can be time consuming...

Wow! 3 of us ended up in this thread that are self-employed and homeschooling?

Something that may help in regards to burn-out is finding a way to spend doing something physical....

I am looking a the Level C Phonics manual and see that in the back is an 8 week review. Is this to be done after the 34 week phonics program or would it be appropriate to do it in conjunction?
