Christian Latin or Henle III after Henle II Caesar?
Hello,
My student is currently in Henle II Caesar and I am trying to decide which Latin class he should take next year. It is my understanding that Memoria Academy recommends taking Christian Latin before Henle III. What are the benefits of taking Christian Latin before Henle III? Will...

How to review new Latin grammar concepts after 1st-4th Form?
Hello,
The grammar questions provided in FFL-4FL served as a great tool to help my students stay sharp with past grammar concepts they had learned in those levels. Now that they are working in Henle II, they no longer have grammar questions to review. How do you have your students review...

Thank you for sharing how this has played out in your home. It makes sense that the load in other subjects will have to be lightened or carried over into the summer. I am pretty much hands off with this subject so it doesn't really add to my workload, but I want to support my student in her desire to...

How to make room for Second Form Greek in 8th grade?
Hello,
Any advise on how to make room for Greek in 8th grade? In 7th, I had my student take a lighter pass through Nature's Beautiful Order and focus primarily on the mapwork in Geography III. She would like to continue to study Greek next year, but I would rather not add that to her...

Thank you Tanya, and Mitchell for your thorough response. I am completely unfamiliar with Greek, but my daughter asked for a Greek Dictionary for Christmas. She is currently studying FFG and seems to be enjoying it. It appears it would be fine to wait...

Thank you ladies for replying to my question, and sharing how this looks at your house. If I am unable to check his work for a particular week, I'll have him show me that it is done and spot check a few exercises before he checks it all with the answer key.
Thanks again for taking time...

Grading Latin worksheets for students taking MPOA Latin classes
Hello,
This is our family's first year taking MPOA classes, and my son is taking 4FL. I have studied Latin with my kids at home and this year I am finding it harder to keep up, due to the accountability of the online class schedule (I can't take two weeks for a lesson if we have a busy...Last edited by wisdomseeker; 12-06-2021, 09:01 AM.

First Form Greek Vocab Question
Hello,
My daughter is wondering if the vocabulary word she has learned to mean house, also means town. She hasn't learned the word town yet, and the flashcard doesn't have two meanings on it, but the word has shown up a couple times in her exercises.
Thanks,
Janice
