Honestly, if you don't need the items between now and July, I would wait. Conference attendees (virtual and in-person) get shipping completely free and then you won't lose the benefits of ordering direct from MP (updates, downloads, etc)....

Beorn is right. The free shipping code is given after the conference starts. If I remember correctly, it’s good for the week of the conference....

Whatever you choose to do, keep it simple and short. Looking at enbateau’s post, they’ll be spending probably 30 minutes a day on actual seat work. That amount of time is perfect for keeping concepts fresh while allowing your family to have a true break....

People frequently say that they don’t know anyone near them who uses MP, so this was started as a way for people to connect for camaraderie, play dates, or simply to look at the map and know they’re not alone.

Same as above. Depending on whether/how far you follow rabbit trails, Enrichment only takes about 30 minutes a day. Maybe 45 on the history and science days.

I just went through the same thing with C so I copied the chart I made for him and then customized it with some ideas for R. Maybe it will help trigger some ideas:

I've been in a similar situation with two sets of kids, although in both those cases it was the younger one who was more advanced than the older sibling. I'd agree with the PL/LC path, but wanted to add this in case it comes up in the future (especially since they're close in age): an extra issue for...

FFL Vocabulary
I noticed there is a PDF that matches FFL Vocabulary to the CD. It appears it's just a matter of presentation order rather than different words. Is that correct, or do I need to watch for different words at some point?

We use all MP, but we don't do all of MP, if that makes sense. A tip for ordering: if you call/email your order for "customized cores," you'll still receive some level of discount as long as you buy a Curriculum Manual for each "core" you're ordering. I do this each year and it works...

Hopefully this will help you get started and not have to reinvent the whole wheel./QUOTE]

I forgot to add: if she's set on starting with brush pen, you can actually use regular broad tip markers. Lindsey has a tutorial post for this on her blog.
