HI Jessica,
Sorry for the delay in responding. So my thoughts are as follows:
1) Epilepsy Foundation website and phone number is a wonderful resource. I recently reached out to them in my new trauma with my younger son. So much info on their website and by phone. Amazingly,...

Pray for Cheryl
Hi all... I will start off by asking Cheryl’s forgiveness if I am overstepping my boundaries here. But she and her family need our prayers. Her father just passed away.
I know you will all join with me in going before the throne of our gracious Lord and lifting her, and her family, up...Last edited by SPearson; 02-25-2020, 04:15 PM.

Mr. Piland,
This news has rocked our world a bit. We are so excited for you and your family, and the next chapter of your lives. But know this....you have provided solid footing for our family’s high school journey in a way I don’t think anyone else could have, or would have. You have...

Hi Christine, I was referring to GPW since that was why I jumped on this thread up above, to ask about it. We did most of Mammals last year. From what I can tell looking at sample pages of the GPW on the Milestone Books website, it doesn't appear that it's lower level than the Mammals curriculum....

Okay, thank you for clarifying these things Cheryl. I will look again at samples online of the R&S spelling 5 to see if that would be a good next step for him. In SWO we do usually read that long passage, but not always. As for the misspelled words section, we have always ignored that based on Cheryl...

Thanks Michelle. So did you ditch it only 1/2 done for the reasons you mentioned above? Or did you double up lessons so you could be done after one semester?
One of the reasons I considered it was for practice in reading and “trying” to understand non-literary content matter ....in...Last edited by SPearson; 02-20-2020, 08:28 AM.

Hi Cheryl,
Was wondering if I could get insight on the R&S selections with this new SC 7&8 level coming out soon. Can you help me understand better the preference of the R&S spelling over, say, moving into the Spelling Workout? If my son is doing ok in Spelling Workout E, would...

Thanks for asking this! Since I chose to postpone Astronomy, I was actually wondering about some feedback from others about Gods Protected World. I was thinking of maybe squeezing it in between now and the end of the year....

Thank you everyone for chiming in and being willing to help me.
Mr. PIland, at this point, I think it'll be best to connect live. I understand the join codes. The issue is that the College Board would not allow us past my son's "Update Your Account Page" unless we put an actual...

Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping Mr. Piland sees this and can help me. I just wanted to say that the issues we experienced trying to set up a College Board account have never been resolved. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with the College Board and, as of today, my son still doesn't...

Just chiming in here to see if we can get Grace as much support as possible. Thank you, Michelle and Jen, for weighing in with great ideas.
Grace, if there’s a way to “edit” your post with a new heading to draw attention from our special mommas here who have faced the extreme challenge...Last edited by SPearson; 01-05-2020, 09:52 PM.

OT: Cognitive Therapy
Hi All,
Some of you know me and my varied training background in various therapeutic modalities (to complement our MP daily schoolwork)....so I wanted to share something my husband and I stumbled upon last night. It's this brilliant "Multi-Matrix" game/cube set. From everything...

That’s way too cute, but so very Michelle-like, based on my few experiences around her. She’s just so cute, charming, articulate, and funny. So I can image her doing this, Cheryl, which makes it more fun to read this!...
