Maps for use with Book of the Ancient Romans?
We're just starting The Book of the Ancient Romans. Any recommendations for the best maps to use with this set? Are there blank maps available in PDF form to print and fill out?...

Just got done looking at this sample side-by-side with the existing lesson plans. The new plans look excellent! I love the detailed notes on history and word usage, and the suggestions to complete various sections orally. I am excited to see what's coming and am breathing a big sigh of relief. With...

I would also pay for a digital download if a paper copy is unavailable....

Thank you so much for posting the sample! I’m excited to look at it today.
Is this expected to be ready for sale by the end of the summer? DD is wrapping up 4th Form and the plan has been to do the updated Henle II in lieu of an online class. If it may be delayed I’ll need to sign...

AP classes - do we need them to appear competitive for college admission?
I'm reviewing our plans for my daughter's remaining HS years and following the HLS/MP plan fairly closely. We do use alternate providers for science and math and if DD continues on her current trajectory, will complete at least the standard 4 years of science that includes physics and math through Calc...

The teaching videos have been a godsend (so impressed with The Odyssey videos this year) and I'm excited to hear about more at the upper levels....

MP11 and 12 packages
Please forgive me for being the one that dredges up this semi-annual question. But I couldn't help but ask it.
Is there an MP11 package planned? I saw the book list in the last catalog, which was really helpful. I have always found the curriculum manuals to be incredibly helpful for pacing...

Ooh, thanks for the suggestion! I love Marlon Brando, and will poke around looking for this. I also like the idea of watching the entire production for this one. Last year DD's interest/attention span for Shakespeare was definitely not enough for the whole production, so feeding her tidbits was an enticing...

Thanks for the clarification - my description was clunky. It's tough to tell which productions are "just the text" or an interpretation, and, um.....the content of some is unpredictable (reference the couple shown in their underwear as the clip for one production -- I skipped that one)....

Production of Julius Caesar closest to the MP text
Hi everyone!
I'm planning DD's 10th grade year. When we do Shakespeare, I like to complete all lessons associated with a particular act, then have DD watch a performance of that act to liven up the study. I recall having this discussion on the forum in the past, and stumbled across the...

Thank you Tanya! I really appreciate you weighing in. After looking at the Student Guide for Sir Gawain, it certainly seems to cover so many important topics that are foundational for future lit classes. So that's a keeper. We'll drop A Midsummer Night's Dream.
I think you just made my...

Considering dropping Midsummer Night's Dream - mistake?
We've had to make some changes this year and are running behind with MP9 literature. We rearranged the order a bit and have already covered Beowulf, Hound of the Baskervilles, To Kill a Mockingbird, and are about to start Sir Gawain. To avoid running through late summer, I'm considering dropping Midsummer...

I am thrilled to hear this!
We have been with MP Latin since Prima. This year we are tackling Fourth Form, and with Henle II on the horizon, I did not feel equipped to teach this at home. I’ve been so spoiled by MP’s rich guides and excellent lesson plans, and felt like I’d need more...

I'm excited to hear this! It may be perfect timing for us as well -- right as we're about to wrap up Fourth Form. Looking forward to hearing about the latest release.......

Thank you for this encouragement. I'm definitely in need of some additional hand-holding at this level, however -- either something akin to the Forms guides or via an online course....
