A warm thank you to Mr. Piland for all his work with and for students and families at MPOA. He has been a credit to the academy and is a lovely man. Wishing he and his family all the best!

I have a question about AP Lit & Comp. I see that the instructor and class schedule are TBA. Does that mean that the line above about class time meeting from 3-4 on Thursdays and 4-5 on Tuesdays does not apply for this year or is that still the same? (Feel free to let me know if it is better to...

Yes, that is wise advice. He actually has a “pre” interview this Thursday with a Hillsdale rep so I told him to be sure and ask him about it. I feel like this is an area where he could/should pursue a preference (especially given what he wants to study and his other long-term goals). His science...

Thank you so much for the information! It is something we are exploring because my son wants to be a history teacher/professor with possible minors in classical studies, biblical studies and the like. He enjoys science but it will not be his “thing”. He wants to do further study in astronomy...

Hello!

As a mom with a rising junior, sophomore and freshman, I am spending quite a bit of time this summer in this kind of research....

Thank you Bean! I took four years of French many years ago. I remember a decent amount but would not claim fluency. Will check these out.

OT: High School French
Hello!
I am looking for a curriculum for teaching high school French for my rising 9th grader, hopefully one as well organized and wonderful as MP's Latin. I looked at the French MP offers and it says it is geared towards 5th to 8th grade so it seems that it doesn't qualify as a high school...

Hello Mr. Piland,
I noticed that you removed TBA sections for geometry. Is that class set then? Also, I emailed you regarding another matter. Just wanted to make sure you received it. I can resend if not. Thanks!
Blessings,
