I don’t see lesson plans for Macbeth. How would you recommend scheduling this out? I see other Shakespeare plays are scheduled over 6-8 weeks, so I’m thinking I’ll do something similar. Maybe an act a week, with time for the introduction and a week for a final essay?

Thank you! I have several different versions, including Folger editions, Pelican by Penguin, and Macbeth is from Yale Press. I'll look for the Ignatius Press editions for future purchases....

My 9th grader will be working on at least one of the Shakespeare units, starting with Macbeth. We already have a copy (probably more if I started digging in book boxes!). Is it necessary to use the recommended copy of Macbeth or can we use the copy I already have?

My daughter wants to cover The Three Theban Plays by Sophocles next year. Are the lesson plans for this included in the Three Greek Tragedies lesson plans I see listed under Classical Studies? Or is that something else?
