K Science and Social Studies Kit

This kit is able to be used grades K -2 correct? I noticed many of the titles listed in 1st grade recommendations as well as 2nd.

So I guess I'm asking is it a K-2 Social Studies and Science resource kit?

I'm in my 3rd week using MP Jr.K and haven't found a lesson plan introducing the Alphabet Coloring Book am I using these as a supplement on my own and as a fun activity as it fits in to the Alphabet Letter that we are currently working on?

I will be new to this curriculum in the fall and I am struggling with 1 last detail for placement for my 8 year old with math.

He has no math facts as of now. Will he be able to jump into R&S Workbook 2 without completing Workbook 1?

He will be finishing McRuffy Math...
