First Form Latin at a two year pace
We are finishing Latina Christiana at a two year pace. We will be starting First Form Latin next year, which I also think we should take two years to complete if my daughter is really to learn it well. Can anyone tell me which digital Simply Classical plans for Latin should I purchase for the two...

scheduling Poetry for the Grammar Stage
I am planning for 7th grade and I see there are about ten poems in Poetry for the Grammar Stage that go with the curriculum. Are all 10 of these scheduled in the 7th grade lesson plans or do I need to work them in myself? For example, I see two poems that go with Anne of Green Gables but I did not...

Thank you for your thoughts. I actually think my older child is going to love Fable and Narrative for the very reasons you listed!

Abigail, I now have some follow up questions if you have time.
1. My to-be 6th grader, as I stated, is a slow learner. I was trying to take a look at the sample of the 4th grade curriculum manual where Fable is introduced, and from what limited things I can see, it looks like the entire fable...

Help getting started and planning

If i buy one more subject I think I will have spent more on the individual plans than if I had just bought the seventh...

We are finishing up our first year with LC and these sheets made the program so much easier!!! Thank you so much! You have me totally spoiled and year two of Latina Christiana is going to be so much less organized without them! You did a wonderful job and a wonderful service by sharing your pack...

Help needed getting started with Latina Christiana
I did Prima last year with my daughter (who is finishing grade 4 but is a slow learner). She did really well with that program using the DVDs. For this coming year I bought the DVDs again for LC. Here are my questions:
1. Are the recitations included on the DVD? If they are, should she watch the...Last edited by lorisuewho; 05-28-2020, 04:57 PM.

I just wanted to say I feel for you.
We did half a year of Prima in second grade and now I'm dropping it for the rest of the year. It is just too much for my second grader. I hate quitting. And now I won't be in perfect MP synchronization next year for third grade. I really was feeling horrible...
