Re: Let's help each other out...what are you teaching this year?

Re: Let's help each other out...what are you teaching this year?
I will be teaching a weekly Latina Christiana class to a group of 3rd-4th graders this year, probably five or six kids. I've taught it 1.5 times at home, but never in a group setting. Hopefully there are already Quizlet...

Re: Pre-Sodalitas dinner at Mimi's Cafe
I just booked my rental yesterday and the cheapest option was a pickup truck--Ford F-150, Dodge Ram 1500 or similar. I'm arriving later this evening, so I'll miss Mimi's/mudslinging, but you'll see my truck in the parking lot tomorrow....

Re: 6th Grade Science Questions
I see that both Middle School Science I and II are for grade levels 6-7. Is it preferable to take Middle School Science I before Middle Science II, or is the order not important? My son will be in sixth grade and wants to take Middle School Science II,...

Thanks!

6th grade math
Hi,

Re: Re-reading Phonics Readers
Thank you so much for these suggestions. I just downloaded the SC1 phonics plans and will start using them from where we are currently. I can see just by looking at them that he will enjoy the activities! Also, I wasn't aware...

Re: Re-reading Phonics Readers
Hopefully it's ok to ask this on this thread, rather than starting a new one - I wanted to include Anita's comments about FSRD with my question.
My son is working through FSR very slowly, currently almost finished...

Re: Any working moms out there?
Thanks so much for sharing your strategies and suggestions; this has been really, really helpful and has given me a lot to think about. I have been reading through the responses this morning, taking notes, and formulating a plan (in my mind, at least)....

Any working moms out there?
I am curious to know if/how any of you manage outside work with homeschooling. Do any of you outsource anything to husbands or others? I work only Sundays, but it's a long shift (3pm-7am). Usually I stay up all day Monday so I don't completely lose that day and, although I am used to it, I am tired!...
