Hi! It's been awhile since I've been around, but I had a quick question that I think pairs well with the intent of this post. In the two years since I've done first grade last, it appears that the primary phonics grade 2 book has been eliminated from the first grade curriculum? Is this because of traditional...

Re: Repurchasing Curriculum Manuals
I've always much appreciated MP's willingness to replace the curriculum manuals when they are updated. We don't treat them
as consumable but have needed to replace after changes have been made to the curriculum. It would be great if there...

Re: R&S English vs EGR
We love Rod and Staff Grammar as well. My rising 5th grader did great with EGR in 3rd grade but I felt like she needed some additional practice which we find plenty of with Rod and Staff. Now that I've seen both programs in action, here is my plan for...

FSR E - Please remind me!
Greetings friends!
I know I haven't been around too much lately, but I appreciate someone taking the time to refresh my memory. Starting with our next school year I will have a 1st, 3rd, and 5th grader using MP. I'm struggling to remember where FSR-E is used in the curriculum. My oldest...

Re: Intro to Composition
Just throwing in there that my rising 4th grader did the Moffats last year in 3rd grade and absolutely loved it. We were doing the moderated curriculum but had picked that book and study guide set up randomly from someone passing on some material, so we did that...

Re: 4th grade literature selection question....
Tanya,
We will definitely be doing the Dangerous Journey and the Blue Fairy Book. I was trying to figure out what to do in addition to those selections since we've already been through Homer Price and Cricket In Times Square. What...

4th grade literature selection question....
Oh ladies, it's nice to be back! We moved this summer and any/all of my free time has been spent unpacking boxes, purging, and trying to reorganize life. But reading through recent threads has just made me smile and laugh over and over again. What a great community this is!

Re: OT: Head-up Baby and ECV
Hi! I hope everything goes well for you!
When I had my twins, Baby A was head down. I wasn't a huge believer in chiropractic care either, but I had several Webster appointments...and she flipped! I was so relieved. The extra bonus was...

Re: special convention prices?
Haha, I love it. Free shipping is great, though being in Louisville I get the pleasure of swinging by the MP offices any time I realize I forgot something or another.
But, for the canvas bag, I might just have to go ahead and purchase something...
