    2022 Dates Set Yet?

Are the 2022 conference dates on the calendar at this point for Sodalitas and Teacher Training? I have marked July 11-15 on my calendar, but I don't know if those dates are accurate.
    Thank you!

P.S. Will there be the Wednesday Memoria College option along with the pre-conference? I realize that may be limited to enrolled MC students only.
P.S.S. Will there be another Sodalitas enrichment track where Jon Christianson talks about 1 word for two straight mornings? I hope so! If yes, has the word/idea been chosen?

    I hope so, too!

To answer your original question, though, the July 11-15 dates are indeed the 2022 conference dates. Sodalitas is 11-12, Teacher Training is 13-15.

So pickandgrin, should we start a thread to find a word for Jon Christianson for this summer?

Ah! That would indeed be fun. "Justice" and "Virtue" are already taken.

Jon Christianson I'm glad to hear it! I used several of your "Virtue" whiteboard illustrations from last summer when I substitute taught Cicero two weeks ago. The big picture overviews are very helpful since I never know if I'll be with high schoolers or third graders (this last week!) as a last minute substitute. The more I step back from the curriculum and look at is as a whole, the more I love all the individual parts.

Yes! Send suggestions here, and we will consider them. We have not chosen a theme for Jon yet. But we know he can talk about anything!

Upon the heels of the last two years, I think "suffering and redemption" could be a worthy topic.

Well put, Jessica! I told Jon just after last conference he had to expect to be rehired.

I will be writing these dates down, but I still need to get a 2022 calendar - sure wish I had a nice MP calendar though. Now I just need to make sure my boys are not planning a big trip that week with trail life.

Maybe Jon Christianson's time could be doubled so he could cover both suffering and redemption as only he can? Or perhaps an after session at a local pub or brewhouse in the evenings?

Just suffering sounds like a worthy topic in my mind. So much material to go through. Oh the possibilities.

I am DETERMINED to make for 2022! I keep teasing every year but this time, I mean it! I'm going to drag my husband or maybe D with me.

And I agree with Jessica- suffering and redemption are highly appropriate words.
