Teacher Training Plenaries

I am planning to attend Sodalitas and Teacher Training virtually this year. When I begin to register for teacher training, it asks if I want to include the plenary sessions. Are the Sodalitas plenaries included but the Teacher Training plenaries separate? I want to make sure I sign up for all the correct things!

Yep! Sodalitas plenaries are included with your Sodalitas registration. Teacher Training plenaries are an add-on to the Teacher Training registration.

Hi, I would like to attend the Sodalitas training virtually this year. However, when looking at the website, I can't tell exactly what's included. Ideally, I would like to attend the Sodalitas conference on July 12-13, and then on the 15th-16th, I would like to attend the teacher training workshops for the classes I'll be covering in next year's homeschool. I see that there is an option to include the Teacher Training Plenaries as an add-on, but not the workshops. Is there a way to purchase access to those? Thank you!

Hi Nikki Bonham, welcome to the forum. You would need to register twice, once for Sodalitas on July 12-13 (https://www.memoriapress.com/2021-so...ol-conference/) and then once for the Teacher Training on July 15-16 (https://www.memoriapress.com/2021-mp...ng-conference/).

Virtual or In Person options are available for both. If doing virtual for the Teacher Training, there is an option to add on the plenaries for $25. Schedules are available on both links (third box down) and descriptions are available also. When you sign up for Sodalitas, you can pick and choose which workshops to go to. For the Teacher Training, you pick which track/grade level you want to go with. If going virtually, there are not as many options to pick from, so you'll need to pick one and then view recordings of other sessions you want to see afterwards. MP was gracious enough to give us a 60 day window after the conference last year to watch sessions virtually and I am hoping it will be the same this year.

Also, note that the "teacher training" sessions do not line up exactly with the homeschool lesson plans past the 3rd grade.
