    Dinner Meet-up Sunday night, July 11th?

    Hello! Is someone heading up a meet-up for dinner on Sunday night before the conference starts? I'll be there and I'll need food. So, I'm in!

    Year 12 of homeschooling with MP

    DD1 - 27 - college grad, bakery owner
    DD2 - 16 - 11th grade - HLS Cottage School - online classes, looking at dual credit - equestrian and theatre
    DS3 - 14 -7A Cottage School - soccer/tennis -dyslexia and dysgraphia
    DS4 -14 - 7A Cottage School -soccer/tennis -auditory processing disorder
    DD5 - 10- 5A, Cottage School - inattentive ADHD - equestrian and tumbling
    DS6 - 9 - MP 1 - home with momma

        Let us know what the plan is and we'll be there. That was fun two years ago, although I only knew one or two people in the room there at the time so I was a bit nervous going into it.

          Hi all!
          We are holding a bring your own take-out picnic at a park and shelter not far from the Spring Meadows campus, 6:00 - 8:30 PM. Restrooms will be available. Plenty of room to roam around and bring lawn games. Extra family members are welcome, but there is not a playground. Picnic tables will be available and we'll have extra lawn chairs as well. We'll ask for a donation per family to defray shelter rental costs, minimum $5 collected when you get there. Full details will be sent in our first conference newsletter next week.
          Rain may ruin lawn games, but the shelter will keep us dry otherwise.

            (And just like that, all the diet restriction restaurant ordering problems are solved!)

                That sounds wonderful!! I look forward to it!

                Just a thought but would it be possible to provide a list of your favorite local take out options when you send out the info? I can google somewhere to pick up food, but it's not as good as knowing someone who eats in the area on a regular basis and has personal recommendations! I am driving in that day, but hopefully will be there in enough time!
