    Teaching English Grammar Recitation

How do you teach EGR in a school where classes are offered a la carte? I don't think that it needs its own class. Do you combine it with Latin or Classical Composition?

At HLN we only pair EGR I with Prima Latina in 3rd (we hold off Prima until 3rd and then go at a one year pace after), but after that year it becomes an at-home subject, if desired. Important: we only meet once per week and do Latin/Classics/Lit & Poetry/Composition. Everything else is left to the parents. We do not require full cores at home above 2nd grade.

Most of it comes up in Latin anyway and many of the grammar questions overlap wording. So helpful!
