    Grammar

I would like to start teaching Clara grammar now that she is reading and about to start writing and spelling with Simply Classical materials. We used English Grammar Recitation for a short time with my oldest (not special needs), and it drove her crazy, so I am pretty sure that Clara cannot handle it either. She really hates memorizing things without songs to go with them. I am wondering what other people use? I looked at Shurley English, but it seems to be way more than just grammar. I am now considering Well-Ordered Language from Classical Academic Press. It uses songs, which should help Clara. Has anyone else found a program that works for a child at about a 3rd grade reading level? Is MP writing a Simply Classical Grammar program that I should wait to get?

Wait for your writing book. My son has learned nouns and verbs and pronouns. It's enough for this level

OK. I have not received it yet. I ordered it last Friday, so I expect that it will arrive tomorrow or Monday.
