    Naming Contest for SC Social-Emotional

For everyone who reads, posts, & lurks:

We are working on the new Simply Classical Social-Emotional programs. These will be ~14-week stand-alone programs that can be taught over summers, alongside a semester of SC levels, or whenever needed to accompany any academic program for all age levels. After the readiness level, each program includes practical lessons alongside some of the most beloved and important MP-selected children's literature not already taught in SC.

    We need a title!

For obvious reasons, this will not work:
Simply Classical Social-Emotional Awareness, Social Perception, Social Skills, Health, Safety, & Manners

    Ideas?

Post your best idea(s) to this thread.

Winner receives $10 off the first purchase of one of these new SC programs. Please enter soon, because the formatter is using my unwieldy title and would love to switch to your better one!

              I like Jen's 👍

But I'll take a(nother) stab at it:

Re: Naming Contest for SC Social-Emotional

No clear winner yet. Keep thinking! We would like to choose by early next week.

                Tips:
                1. Not a subtitle
We will probably not use SC: subtitle, because the book is already Simply Classical: A Beautiful Education for Any Child.

In other words, it would be more likely in the format of the "Simply Classical Curriculum."

                2. Needs to be clearly understood as being taught for social-emotional development, rather than for a primarily academic purpose.

                3. Alliteration is not essential.

                4. Each person may submit as many ideas as she would like. We're looking for brainstorming here.

                5. All suggestions so far are instructive to us!

                Thank you!

Reading back over Cheryl's not a subtitle comment, mine probably are more subtitles

One of them could become "Etiquette and Emotional Enrichment for the Simply Classical student" or "Simply Classical's Guide to Learning Life Skills through Literature". Different levels could have a cute subtitle on what they cover.

                        Good luck!
