Novare Physical Science with a visually impaired student.

How can I adapt this course for a student with tracking issues. My son loves science but finding a text that isn't visually overwhelming isn't easy. After looking at the samples it looks like something he would enjoy but I'm unsure how to go about adapting the workload to fit his needs. He can read on grade level but tires easily. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

Re: Novare Physical Science with a visually impaired student.

Would you have time to read some of this to him? The black-and-white text appears visually tedious and might make for good read-aloud sections.

He could then study the more visually-friendly charts, colored side bars, and vocabulary boxes himself.

    Other ideas:

    -Do Learning Checks orally.

-Allow him to choose only one of the Exercises per lesson.

-If necessary, despite above modifications, divide single lessons over two or three days.

I hope you can figure out some ways for the course to work for him.
