Hi again!
So, one of our biggest problems with my 6 year old is, lack of focus. Well, if we are doing it one on one, she has no problems. However, if her 4 year old brother decides to join us at the table and has one of his R&S books, when I switch to speak to him, she stops her work and has to either "help" him or becomes very interested in "his" work. He, on the other hand, can sit there for 30+ minutes and work solidly on his work? SO crazy! One day my son actually played with my 2.5 year old for over an hour. My 6 year old and I accomplished quite a bit and then I had her go play with my 2.5 year old. My son and I worked for another sold 1.5 hours. SO, it was very productive, schooling, but it took over 3 hours. My daughter only needs a few minutes for me to explain what to do, as does my son. However, them together is not a good mix. Do we just suck it up and take 3 hours, or is there something we can do to help her not get so distracted?
