    Thank you!
My Very First Scissors Book is an optional supplement for Level B. We do not include daily lesson plans, so you can use this book any way that benefits your child. You have several options:

    1. You could engage your son in a "Scissors Unit" prior to starting Level B and work through 2-3 pages per day.

    2. You could include the Scissors Book along with Level B. If you chose to do this, I would recommend teaching 1-2 pages every day as part of your Fine-Motor Lesson.

    3. If "daily" seems too much, you could teach 1-2 pages of the Scissors Book only on Days One and Two. (Days Three & Four may already involve cutting as part of the craft.)

If #2 or #3, you could write the Scissors Book's page numbers into the Fine-Motor section of your planner ahead of time, if this helps with organization.

My daughter's OT created similar exercises when scissors skills did not come easily for her. Ours were written with marker on manilla folders or stray pieces of white copier paper. You can create these yourself. To make it easier, the Memoria Press designers transferred the sequenced exercises onto perforated pages within an appealing little book!

    Thanks-
    Cheryl

We have a lot of problems with him at church listening and following directions and can't sit still. I couldn't take him to our CC class and put him in the nursery the past two years because of this. My mom has been staying with him on our class days. She is a retired school teacher and knows how to handle him but it has been hard on her and she will not be doing it anymore. He loved being with her however. I am suppose to be enrolling him in CC to be in the class I tutor this coming fall. I am very nervous about how he will act and wonder if it is the best thing for him. I visited your booth in Cinncinati and the Memoria Press booth. I ordered the Preschool book to go through with my 2 yr old. We already read a lot of the books but I love how the day is scheduled out for me. I noticed it was based off the Level A. I have been racking my brain on what to do with my 4 yr old for preschool. I ordered your book and I am planning on reading it. I might be registering for your summer sessions too. I have a 10 yr old girl with attention issues and a dyslexic 8 yr old son and a 2 yr old as well. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me. I really appreciate it!
This is very helpful. Thanks for the updated scores & for placing everything in a clear context.

Yes, his clarified scores match Level B very well!

I think you (and his grandmother) will like the emphasis on politeness in Level B. The daily lessons will give him simple ways to learn and practice good manners all year.

Level B requires more time than Level A, but feel free to omit anything he does not need. The resources and lesson plans are there to serve you.

    Thanks-
    Cheryl

How did your son score on Level A?

And does he have any specific diagnoses?

    Thanks-
