    That is good sleuthing! Yes, the SC 7&8 Writing Practice Set will give your son considerably more writing practice while also working on vocabulary, word awareness, and comprehension. Include this with the SC 7&8 Lit/Comp/Grammar module, along with Teach Yourself Cursive or SC Level 2 NAC 1 Cursive, and you will be all set!

    SC. 4 Spelling with SC 7,8 lit, comp, grammar

    I have posted about a son 10 who needs help in spelling and writing. I am going to do TS spelling 1 with him with the SC 4 plans. I will pick something for cursive either Cursive logic or NAC 1. I will augment with my O-G materials.

    That boy sounds much like mine. I do want him writing more this year. I looked at the simply classical writing books and he is beyond those. He can write a good sentence. He did the beginning part of Rod and Staff 4 last year and was doing well, but we did not get far. Would it be possible for him to benefit from the literature, composition and grammar from SC 7 and 8? He can certainly read the literature books.
