Hello All,
After much thought and prayer, as well as through consultation with my son's educational advisor, I have decided that mostly SC 5-6 will be the better route for my son. ( I was considering mostly 7-8.) I am switching out Rod and Staff Spelling and math 3 for R&S spelling and math grade 4, science will still be covered at co op and history is covered elsewhere, too.
As I have been planning the MP portion of my son's education, I have taken some things from 5-6 and some from 7-8. At first I felt that the literature titles from 7-8 would be more appealing to my almost 17 year old son, but then I noticed that the literature titles in 5-6 are tied to the titles covered in Intro to Comp. So, having never used Intro to Comp, I am not sure how important it is to use the 5-6 titles. Would you all recommend that I stick with the 5-6 literature titles, or does it not really matter?
Thanks for your input,
RuthAnn
