    Traditional Spelling II

Hello. A quick question about Traditional Spelling II...

I searched and could not find an answer on the forum posts. I apologise if I have missed something.

If we start using Traditional Spelling II, instead of using TSI first, will we (my son and I) be taught all the colour coding techniques used in TSI, or is it necessary to work through both books to get the full method?

    Kindly,

    Natalie

The teacher's guide does give you all that information for spelling. Also, I would suggest buying the individual plans for spelling for 2nd grade. This will help you juggle all the books. For a child that has not done TS1, I would recommend them all.

After the Table of Contents in TS II you will find the General Lesson Overview section which describes what to do each day. Following this is a Sample Lesson Plan which gives more instruction on how to complete the elements including Colorful Words which can be found on Day Two #4.
