    SC 7 and 8

    Hello,

I was wondering if there was any information on when SC 7 and 8 might be available, please?

    Kindly,

    Natalie

Good morning! Winter or early spring 2020 is the current estimate. The book list and all lesson plans are submitted to the designer. She and I are working together multi-hours each day on formatting, tweaking, and arranging for both the Two-Year and One-Year paces.

    We're getting closer!

Haha. I actually thought about this today but I thought, "I'm always the first to ask". So, thanks for asking Naxi.

Cheryl, can you remind me again which courses from 5/6 carry over? Im thinking Greek Myths and Latin. Does Christian Studies carry over too?

      Thanks!
DS14- Simply Classical mash-up of Traditional Spelling 2 and SC 7/8
DD12- Classic Core 6th Grade w/ First Form
DD10- Classic Core 4th Grade w/ Greek Myths and American History

      We've completed:
Classic Core Jr. kindergarten thru grade 5
      Simply Classical levels B, C, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5/6

We carry over Latin, with 1/2 Latina Christiana accomplished in SC 5&6 and 1/2 Latina Christiana in SC 7&8. We carry over Music Appreciation Book One, with historical context, composer bio, and listening in SC 5&6 and greater musical theory, terminology, and a second time of listening in SC 7&8.

We wrap up both Greek Myths and Christian Studies I in SC 5&6. We teach and complete FMOR and Christian Studies II in SC 7&8.

Look for a dedicated study of English composition and grammar, math, literature, and spelling in SC 7&8 while embarking on classical and Christian studies through Astronomy, Famous Men of Rome, Latin, and Christian Studies II.

I'm eager to share more. We're making it "pretty," so we can share!

lissa77, I think you're asking for an ETA on SC 7&8. If yes, it is in the queue for final proofing. That sounds closer than it might be, because the queue includes any upcoming MP resources. Plan on late spring to be safe, but I'm hoping for earlier!
