    A Little Latin Humor

    My daughter had been sick for nearly a week, but she seemed perkier today. I asked if she was ready to tackle some make-up Latin lessons.

    She thought for a minute and shook her head. "No," she said.

    Then with a twinkle in her eye, she smiled and added, "I think I need to decline."
