    Super Quick Prayer Requests

    Hey y’all,

Three swift bullet points for your prayer list, please?
    1) We are almost definitely being offered two jobs — one here in Colorado and one in Pittsburgh, PA. We are waiting for official details and offers in hand. But if the Pittsburgh job is amenable, we will be moving. Again. Prayers prayers prayers.
    2) The BIG MEETING is today with the school re my oldest’s IEP and test results. They are standing by their recommendation of the Autism program and low IQ. The non verbal IQ test was administered before Christmas and the results confirmed the previous outcome. Winston very likely has an overall IQ of around 75, no matter what test is given him. This confirms what I already suspected as his mom and home lifelong educator. My husband...? PRAY
    3) I’m starting my own craft business. I’ve been a hobby painter for years (they always ended up as gifts to loved ones) but I’ve wanted to breach out into actual business for awhile. I specialize in Catholic icons — paper and wood — and I know now is a great time to call the Church suffering back to holiness through art and reparation. This has been a pull from the Holy Spirit for a long time. 2019 is the year to get up and walk where He leads.

Thanks ladies. Love y’all. You are all in my prayers as well ❤️

“Have no fear of moving into the unknown. Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well. Do this in complete faith and confidence.”
    ~Pope St John Paul II

    Thanks for the update!
    1) Prayer - yes!
    2) Give your husband time. With so much change already, this must be shocking and hard for him to grasp. But good for you to push for the nonverbal measure. As you know, this confirms not only a need to adjust expectations and give simple, clear directions, but it also confirms just how well he is doing in spite of those results! Hearing him read is one of my favorite things in the world.
    3) Excellent! You are so talented, this will be a therapeutic, generous, creative, and edifying gift for you as well as for others. We love the little painted wooden dolls you made and have them in our music room. Your art may inspire your creative daughter as well. Looking forward to seeing what you create --

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. (Psalm 121:8)

I'm a bit late seeing this, but I will certainly pray for you guys. Two job offers sound wonderful and I would also love a website link once you get your craft business going.

Coming to terms with our children's difficulties/disabilities is just so hard. I find that my husband has a harder time as well. I suppose it's because I spend more time with the kiddos because he works and I don't.

Oh, and by the way, is that a recent photo? I haven't seen you in 2 years, and you look wonderful!
