Question about 2nd grade core guide

If I plan to use the old curriculum guides (accelerated) for 3rd on up, would be ok to purchase a new 2nd grade curriculum guide or should I keep looking for an older one?

I would definitely go ahead and get the update 2nd grade Curriculum Manual. There have been significant updates over the last couple of years. If you go with an older one, be sure you get The Phonics Guide for Reading and Spelling and use an old Classical Phonics.
