I am not aware that this materialized. It was discussed, but no, no one headed it up to my knowledge.

So it was discussed! I was starting to feel very foolish, wondering if I really did dream up forum posts.

I'm staying at an Airbnb, and the host has another room for rent. It has 2 twin beds, and last I knew it was still available. Just mentioning it in case it's a helpful option for someone. It's about 7 minutes from campus.

Was anyone in charge of the Air BNB house option? I don't need housing, but have someone I need to put in contact with the right people for roommate options.

Always choices. We had to make that tough choice last year because we were moving and down to just me at home (hubs had to be working the new job already.). Similar thing happening this summer but we are close enough to have help from family. Every year I just keep my fingers crossed right up to the very last minute! So maybe......or else we will already start looking forward to next year!

And excited for you for the car...such a fun (and infrequent) milestone!

I did not mean to start a new thread on this yesterday. I do not know how I did not see this thread. We cannot stay at either recommended hotels because we will have 2 golden retrievers with us (weight limit of 20 pounds at one hotel and no pets at the other). Are any people staying at other hotels? I would love to at least be close! We are driving from Colorado. With 2 goldens we can only handle about 400 miles a day, so it will be a three day drive. I could possibly pick up one person along I-70, but they are going to be stuck with my extremely talkative non-SC student and my extremely friendly goldens in the car (they may try to climb on your lap). Oh, and also stuck with listening to Story of the World since we have not been doing it over the summers for the older child as told. Oh yes, and also stuck with a strong family affinity for Classic Rock and KISS Los Angeles. Wow! It would be so fun to ride with me, eh? ;-)

Yes, where in Indiana? I will be coming from Lafayette!

I live about an hour or so southeast of Indianapolis. I'm fairly rural and am situated between the bigger (tiny compared to Lafayette) cities of Greensburg and North Vernon.

Where in Indiana? I have some pals up there. Also, will you be involved with the new southern Indiana campus of HLS next year?

I live about an hour southeast of Indianapolis. If I was a bit more southern I would so join a HLS campus!

I live inShepherdsville, just south of Louisville, but would love to stay in a hotel Monday and Tuesday night. Does anybody still need a roommate? 🤔😃
