    Leisure Studies! I organized park district programs for several years before working for the Navy after 9/11. I worked on an aircraft carrier as a civilian. I organized recreational activities for crew members in port, underway and overseas.

    DD1 8/23/09 -Mix of MP 6/7
    DS2 9/1/11 - Mix of SC 7/8 and SC 9/10 (R&S 5, FFL)
    DD3 2/9/13 -SC 5/6

        DD2 - 16 - 11th grade - HLS Cottage School - online classes, looking at dual credit - equestrian and theatre
        DS3 - 14 -7A Cottage School - soccer/tennis -dyslexia and dysgraphia
        DS4 -14 - 7A Cottage School -soccer/tennis -auditory processing disorder
        DD5 - 10- 5A, Cottage School - inattentive ADHD - equestrian and tumbling
        DS6 - 9 - MP 1 - home with momma

          I'm thinking your nursing job is probably supporting your family a little better than a teaching job. In fact, those of us who teach are doing it because we want to make a difference in the lives of children. I'm thinking nursing accomplishes the same goal for people (not just children), and I'm betting it's more lucrative. So you might want to embrace your career choice - not that you wouldn't be a great HLS teacher!
