I am not sure what type of drill my son should be doing with the blank pages like Speed Drill #18, Lesson 62. Please advise! Thank you!

Re: Question on speed drills for 1st grade
I don't usually do any speed drills for math until about third grade.

Re: Question on speed drills for 1st grade
vdamico,
The blank page you see on Speed Drill #18 is the front of the drill. Students have that side of the page from the Speed Drill booklet on their desk. When the time keeper says to begin, they turn over the speed drill to work the problems there until time is called. Any missed problems are circled. Then they use the blanks on the front side of the drill page to write the missed problems correctly 3 times each.
Blessings,
Michelle T

Re: Question on speed drills for 1st grade
Michelle! This is the first time I've ever heard what those blank pages are for. It's probably in my teacher guides somewhere, overlooked by me, but now I know! Thank you!Festina lentē,
