Exploring the World of Biology question

We are starting this this week. Looking over the syllabus (7M) it says to read chapter 1 and "answer and check questions." Are these the questions at the end of the chapter in the text? Or should we be doing the questions in the "Supplemental Student Questions" book?

We actually answer both sets of questions. We felt the questions in the book were good, but not comprehensive enough. So we added the supplemental questions to give students more work in each chapter.
