As I read through threads I often think how much of what we are discussing and the experience and advice we offer is best considered across the backdrop of our specific families. How many kids? How many kids in formal curricula? What ages? What cores? Is your oldest child(ren) married with a child(ren) of their own? Is your oldest child going on 7?
To those of you who do not have a set signature, might you consider adding one? I do think it would greatly contribute to the conversations we have amongst ourselves, particularly when we are speaking about what we are doing in our homes. Please feel free to keep it as vague as you like--DC, 10, Core 5, for example. I try to keep you all straight but I confess I get mixed up over time! The best way to fix all this is to put you on planes and trains to the Sodalitas Gathering, but until then...
Here's how:
On the menu above, click Forum Actions
then, Edit Profile from the drop down menu
On that page, in the second-down left column menu, select Edit Signature
Once you've edited and previewed the signature, you must click Save Signature
ETA: Now, once your signature is set up, one more step. On the same page, look back in the same left-hand menu box, but this time choose General Settings. Under the heading of Thread Display Options select Show Signatures to see other's signatures. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes to wrap things up. Thank you, friends, for pointing this out!
Thanks for considering this!
