Forum-friend Request: Consider Adding a Signature?

As I read through threads I often think how much of what we are discussing and the experience and advice we offer is best considered across the backdrop of our specific families. How many kids? How many kids in formal curricula? What ages? What cores? Is your oldest child(ren) married with a child(ren) of their own? Is your oldest child going on 7?

To those of you who do not have a set signature, might you consider adding one? I do think it would greatly contribute to the conversations we have amongst ourselves, particularly when we are speaking about what we are doing in our homes. Please feel free to keep it as vague as you like--DC, 10, Core 5, for example. I try to keep you all straight but I confess I get mixed up over time! The best way to fix all this is to put you on planes and trains to the Sodalitas Gathering, but until then...

    Here's how:

On the menu above, click Forum Actions
then, Edit Profile from the drop down menu
On that page, in the second-down left column menu, select Edit Signature
Once you've edited and previewed the signature, you must click Save Signature

ETA: Now, once your signature is set up, one more step. On the same page, look back in the same left-hand menu box, but this time choose General Settings. Under the heading of Thread Display Options select Show Signatures to see other's signatures. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes to wrap things up. Thank you, friends, for pointing this out!

    Thanks for considering this!

I have been trying to figure this out forever. I think I finally did. However, in this post, for example, I do not see yours (but I know it is there, because I have seen it before) -so I feel like my computer is selective about when it shows it??

Exactly what you see in the "quote" box is what I "see" - no signature line...

I couldn't see signatures either. But when I went to create mine, I saw a link on the left side that said general settings. There was an option to see signatures, avatars, and images. I checked those and now I can see signatures.

I am so glad this came up! I did not know there was a "see signatures" choice or not! Yay! Now I can see them too!

                  Great suggestion, Jessica!

Yes...it is...two saints in Heaven...God has blessed me with much healing though. They were both early losses but Gabriel I got to see on ultrasound before his heart stopped. I am an ultrasonographer so I got an early peek...many peeks actually!

As usual, throwing the thread off. I am good for that!

That is too funny! What a great name! I confess, it sounds like that's one boy's name since I usually say them all before I get to the one I want 😉
