special convention prices?

Just a quick question - there is no "special pricing or convention prices" on MP curriculum materials purchased at conventions, correct? Just for kicks, I'm heading to the conventional hall in Cincinnati with a couple of friends this Saturday at the GHC and was wondering how big of a cart I needed to bring for "shopping" while there.

From what I understand, the prices are the same as they are online; however, I think that orders placed at conventions do ship for free.

There will be free shipping on orders placed at the convention, which is a great savings if you have plenty to order. Also, MP is completely back-friendly: there is almost nothing for purchase on site. Rather, they'll take your order there and ship it out within the next few days. You get to shop and have box day. It's all your curricula dreams coming true at once.

I went to the Greenville convention and while there are no special convention prices, they do ship free.
Also, their customer service at the convention is second to none. Seriously. They spent every bit of 30 minutes (or more) with me helping me plan my middle son's first grade year - including that he is coming from a different phonics program (so they showed me what books I would need to review with him prior to starting the Core), making sure I only bought what I felt I needed and wanted (NO pushing sales!), and helping to come up with customized back-up ideas for my son's special needs. She flipped through most books on site with me, so that I could see where it was compared to where my son is now - and then she helped me order.

In Cincinnati specifically we will actually be bringing a lot of books with us for you to purchase and walk away with right then! However, the free shipping at conventions still stands and if you would rather we ship it than take it with you, just let us know and we can do that too!

Denette, our Conventions Manager, would kill me if we started having to carry coffee mugs around! You have to come to Sodalitas to get that! She'll let me take them across town, but not out of the state!

Haha, I love it. Free shipping is great, though being in Louisville I get the pleasure of swinging by the MP offices any time I realize I forgot something or another.

But, for the canvas bag, I might just have to go ahead and purchase something at convention.

And as for it being the largest homeschooling convention in the world, I'm just coming for the vendor hall. Not quite ready to be away from the baby more than a day and not really into dragging my crew to Cincinnati for the weekend. But, I kindof feel like I'm gearing up for a trip to homeschool Disneyworld or something.
