    When to start American History

Hi all! So, I've been homeschooling for 2 years now, and I've been doing history from the beginning and working forward. We're still in ancient and moving towards medieval this year and are now using mainly MP texts (it's our first year doing this). So my question is, when did you all begin to incorporate American History into your lessons? I'm feeling like I'm leaving something out...

Re: When to start American History

We are running along with the core plans and my oldest is doing Story of the Great Republic and the Thirteen Colonies text along with 200 Questions about American History workbook. We also have the Everything You Need to Know About American History Homework book to help answer questions and provide more info and the fourth volume of Story of the World is used for more modern events. This is scheduled along with the year of Famous Men of Greece as the American/Modern Studies track in the 7th/6th Accelerated year.
    Hope that helps!
