A moment only a cursive/MP family could appreciate

My fourth grader has beautiful cursive courtesy of two years at HLS and almost three years of MP homeschooling. Today his kindergarten brother asked him to caption a picture for him and the fourth grader wrote it in cursive. The kindergartner reminded him that he could not read cursive letters. After taking a while to write a few words my fourth grader said, "I had to really think and remember about how to print some of these letters. I had forgotten! I have written in only cursive for years!" He is so used to the "only in cursive" rule he even does crossword puzzles in cursive.
