Hmmm. Good question. We haven't actually lesson planned this book yet, but it looks like it is 18 lessons. I'm thinking it would be a semester course for a middle school student. Then you could do one or two Tiner books the other semester.
Thanks....I saw it said 18 lessons...just wondered if they seemed long, to be done over two weeks, or one week. Half a year is fine....we love the Tiner books, and can fill in with those. Wouldn't the Biology one go well with that?
Editing: The son wants to do the Trees set with it....would that work?

Oh, trees would be great! That also is a challenging course and would let him head outside a lot to observe and identify the trees in his neighborhood!
Sarah,
We have an estate nearby famous for trees? What have I been missing? I have been thinking how to fit Natures Beautiful Order down the line. I already planned on bumping Planet Earth to get the Tiner Trio as scheduled in 8A in before high school. We're studying Insects this fall, then definitely want to cover Birds, Trees and Biology. So it may be History of Medicine that goes. Is that last one perhaps an interesting read over a summer? We'll look forward to hearing feedback about Nature's Beautiful Order! It is so nice to have yours be ahead and able to give his seal of approval
