Timeline Program for Homeschoolers

I just had a thought. I know you've made other charts in smaller sizes for homeschoolers. Is there any chance the Timeline Program will ever be shrunk to a more kitchen wall- friendly size? We are very limited on space here, and I have other things on our walls as well (maps, etc.), but I really want to have a timeline prominently displayed somewhere. I know it will fit on those tri-fold boards, but honestly I don't have storage for those things either! I'd love something on a smaller scale to put up on a smaller wall space.

Not sure if this helps, but I have mine hung vertically from floor to ceiling because I don't have much wall space either. It's working well for us.

We have considered a smaller space, and we experimented on a wall here at the office. There are just so many dates you can squeeze into a small space, so it limits how big the timeline needs to be. Since the timeline consists of cards that are placed around the centerpiece card of the birth of Jesus, you can squeeze them in as tightly as you can get them to fit. You can certainly get the 3rd-4th grade cards on a small space, but when you start adding the Middle Ages, Greece, and American history in 5th-6th grades, it is going to be difficult. The idea of placing them vertically may be your best bet.

Multum non multa

I hang the timeline in each kid's bedroom and send them off with a new tape-ready date when we hit it in the materials. Each time someone hits third grade they get their own set for their wall. I have no idea how often it gets viewed in there, but I like the idea of having it available in their special environment. Maybe this would work for you? I had to downsize from the large MP maps to the smaller ones to make room for the Christian Studies set. I find my walls to be one of my greatest decision-making fields. I'm glad to hear you can hang it vertically! That sounds like it might work for us. So, does it all pretty much fit it a floor to ceiling space that way?

I also like the idea of putting it in the kids' room. I'm sure they end up looking at it when they're playing or hanging out in there!

I have plenty of room to place all the cards. My wall is 3 feet wide - BC is placed 18 inches from the floor and AD is placed just below the ceiling. I am considering moving it to a wall 24 inches wide, and I think that will still be more than enough space for all the cards.
