    Buying Consumables Ahead?

I have ordered the PreK Curriculum for my oldest, and assuming all goes well with it, I will use it with my 1.5 year old twins when they are ready. Do you recommend buying the consumables now? Do I just wait until we're ready and then hope nothing significant has changed with the curriculum? I don't want to waste money, and I know that is a possibility with either scenario. Suggestions?

This has been my concern as well with all the changes in the curriculum lately.

      My two cents

      Marge,
I recommend not buying ahead for children with that large of an age spread. If MP changes, and it stands to reason they will continue to tweak, it will be for the better and you'll want to take advantage of those changes. I don't think the price difference will be much, especially since they are now offering the consumable sets. One word about the JrK consumables set though--they are awesome! It wouldn't hurt to have them lying around, but generally, I think buying ahead will end up with more frustration in the future than savings.
      My two cents!

        Marge,

I agree with Jessica. And if we make changes that affect the teacher's materials, we will always replace your curriculum manual with the latest "tweaked" one when you are ready!

Thank you for your thoughts, Ladies. I guess I will go put my credit card back into my purse
