I have no Latin background, but dd has completed PL and LC1 using DVDs, and has done extremely well. I have kept up with her fairly well with minimal effort on my part (recitations, songs and prayers) but for FF I ordered a second workbook for myself as others have suggested to do. I have rather enjoyed learning it alongside her.

I ordered Latin for my 3rd grader also. I've taught Latin before but my older kids were older when we started. I'm excited about it.

So exciting I like the idea of ordering my own book, planning on doing that with FFL this year.
