Grammar Recitiation Workbook and Latin Program Coordination

I understand that Grammar Recitation Workbook 1 coordinates with LC1 and Workbook 2 coordinates with FF. If I am using LC1 in 4th grade, can I still start Grammar Recitation Workbook 1 in 3rd grade while using Prima Latina, or should I wait until 4th grade and use it with LC1?

    Hello.

English Grammar Recitation is only loosely tied to our Latin programs, so you will be fine either way. There isn't an exact correspondence between the Latin lessons and EGR. We are just teaching the same concepts in EGR that students will visit in Latin. But if you hit those concepts in EGR before you hit them in Latin, they will be reinforced when students see them again in Latin (or vice versa).

      Jennifer,
We started EGR1 and Prima Latina in third grade last year and I found them to be very complimentary. It's been the same so far this year with LC1 and EGR2. This is with the oldest child who started MP in third. The smaller folks will be on track and have them in the normal sequence.
      Warmly,
