Third Grade Read Aloud Program Question

I have the 3rd grade package, but not the read aloud lessons...The website has novels and picture books for third grade...Are all of the books supposed to be read, or just the novels, or just the picture books, or some of each?...I hope this question makes sense...It seems like a lot of books to get through in one year

    Thanks in advance...
    Tahara

In an ideal world, both the picture books and the novels would be read. We split the package in two since it would be expensive to buy all the books at once.

    Have a blessed Christmas,

Thanks Paul...I looked over my lesson plans and see that the books are scheduled there...

One more quick question - has the 3rd grade lesson plans changed since May?...That is when I bought the 3rd grade package...

I want to wish you a blessed Christmas as well

Yes, we made a tweak or two in the read alouds over the summer.

          Another Question

Do you need the third grade read aloud lesson plans if you have an updated version of the entire third grade lesson plans?...Is it different information, like the first grade enrichment book?

            Hello.

The 3rd grade read-aloud lesson plans are in the updated 3rd grade curriculum guide. We don't have enrichment for 3rd grade - just a schedule for your reading. We don't have a lot of extra time by 3rd grade to really focus on the read-alouds. Our teachers spend around 15 mins. a day reading from these books. It is one of the students' favorite activities!
