Enrichment Guides- 1st and 2nd grade?

    Hi,

Can you tell me if you have any plans for Enrichment guides for 1st and 2nd grade? If so, will they be available soon? We used MP Jr K last year mostly doing the enrichment portions with my preschooler, and had a blast. I love the look of the K enrichment guide. However, I also have slightly older children who would fit better in first or second grade and would love to have enrichment guides for them also.

    Thanks,
    Kelli

The teachers are working on them this summer but we won't know for a few weeks whether they will actually finish before school starts.

We are working as quickly as we can!

                Tanya,

Is there a way to email you off list? I had a question for you that I'd rather not share in the forum.

Any further news as to whether the 1st or 2nd grade enrichment guides will be available soon? If they will not be available within the next week or so, can you tell me what I'd be missing if I just bought the regular Teacher's guides? Do the regular guides have art/music study, ideas to go along with the read-alouds, etc? We will probably only really use the recitation and enrichment portion of the teacher's guide. I guess what I'm wondering is what do the Enrichment Guides include that the regular Teacher's guides don't?

We should have the 1st grade enrichment guide done by the end of the summer. The 2nd grade enrichment guide will not be done until next year.

The enrichment guides go into depth for the read-alouds, art, music, social studies, poetry, and science. The basic things to do in these areas are in the Core Curriculum Lesson Plans--the enrichment guides just go into depth.

                          Paul,

Thank you so much for getting back to me and explaining how it works. I will go ahead and order the regular 2nd grade Teacher's guide, and just keep checking back for the enrichment ones.
