Cursive Handwriting Suggestions

I have used Penny Gardner's Italics for my two oldest who will be in 3rd and 6th. I am rethinking my decision to not teach them traditional cursive. Are they too old to start NAC? Any other suggestions for starting cursive late would be appreciated.

They are definitely not too old! I would start at the beginning of the series. Your 6th grader may catch on quicker & may be able to accelerate through faster than the 3rd grader depending on how rigorous their other subjects are.

Thanks! I ordered NAC 1 & 2 this morning and we will start it as soon as it arrives. This summer we are just doing read alouds, math drills and handwriting. Keeping it light.
