    4th Grade Curriculum question

Looking at the 4th grade package for Language Arts (which I plan to use next year except with Latin Christina and AAS) I see both Classical Composition and R&S English listed, but not your new grammar.

The sample lesson plan doesn't show grammar (either the new MP or R&S)

I thought that Classical Composition and your new grammar was going to replace the R&S English?

You are right. We have just completed the 4th grade English Grammar book, and we haven't gotten the lesson plans written out yet. We're working on it, and the curriculum guide will be updated soon. We will continue to keep the curriculum guide with R&S grammar in it available for those not doing Latin who need a comprehensive grammar curriculum.

    Regards,

    Tanya

If someone has the curriculum guide for 4th grade already, is there an addendum of sorts that would lay out the grammar lessons?

          Theresa,

The 4th grade curriculum guide still has the lesson plans for Rod & Staff grammar. I'll get the plans completed for English Grammar for the Grammar Stage soon.

Will there be changes to the 4th grade curriculum in the near future? I'd like to purchase it now but will wait if there are new editions or changes before summer.

              Hello.

The only change to the 4th grade program that I anticipate is the addition of English Grammar for the Grammar Stage to replace R&S Grammar. We are very close to having that replacement made, but if you want to go ahead and order your curriculum, we will always replace your lesson plans every time we make a change like that.

              Regards,

              Tanya
